Easy to install

The first step is taking off the cover that was originally installed. This must be removed before the new cover can be installed.
After you have removed the old cover Use a flathead screwdriver in order to pry out the four major attachment clips located on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked in red on the image below. Also, note the tabs for locating slots that are highlighted in yellow. They must be removed in addition.
After removing the battery, replace it with a brand new # CR2032 3 volt coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery corresponds to the opening in the fob, and that the -" negative side is facing towards the buttons made of rubber.
Re-attach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the tabs that locate it. Once you've done this, place the fob that is on the driver's side back in your vehicle and test it by pressing the button on the front of the car key. If everything works as it should your car will turn on the parking lights and the doors will automatically lock.
